The Utsalady Ladies Aid is a non-profit organization that was created in 1908 by Constance Olsen and a handful of hard working women to serve the growing needs of the Utsalady community. One hundred years later, the Ladies Aid continues with the values set forth by those dedicated pioneer women.
The Utsalady Ladies Aid building was built in 1923 and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
We host a variety of community events throughout the year to support families in need, scholarships for local high school girls, maintenance of our historical building, Stanwood Food Bank and other community projects.
Check our calendar of events for details.

Monthly meetings offer a special time to chat with an old friend or make a new one. The future of the Ladies Aid depends on participation of the new members who are warmly welcomed to the organization. Some are new to the area and others have lived on Camano Island for years.
We welcome you to join us at our monthly meetings and to consider becoming an Utsalady Ladies Aid member. You will enjoy sharing in the fun while helping to support our local community.

Utsalady Ladies Aid Cookbook
When you gather together recipes from all of the fabulous cooks of the Utsalady Ladies Aid, you are bound to end up with an extraordinary cookbook. That is certainly the case with the "Utsalady Ladies Aid Cookbook."
First published in 2002, and now in its third printing, the cookbook includes recipes, but also share delightful photos and history of the women of the Ladies Aid and the Utsalady community.
You will find recipes for Evelyn Moshier's Salmon Pie, Edna Mellum's Favorite Hot Dish, Carrie Wang's Orange Meringue Pie, Mary Margaret's Chili for the Masses, Ginny Seay's Utsalady Bay Salmon Chowder, Jenny Mellum's Gumdrop Cake, Laura Holden's Sugar Cookies, Rosa Moa's Vegetable Soup and a host of other mouth watering recipes.
The book includes stories of Hattie's Beach Cooked Salmon as well as photos and recollections of life at Utsalady by Marian Larsen Hansen Turner, Orville Mellum, Betty Bonjorni and others.
The cookbook is dedicated to all women who share the values of faith, family and community and we pray that the next generation will embrace these same values that make us "Utsalady Ladies".
The cookbook is available during events held by Utsalady Ladies Aid organization at the Ladies Aid building. It is also available at the Uff Da Shoppe located in Stanwood at the Viking Plaza.
